I am selling my pair of 16 year-old mares. They are my everyday team for our commercial logging business. Hazel is a grade Belgian, 16 + hands, 1575 pounds. Peaty is a Belgian/Percheron cross 16.5 hands, 1600 pounds. Both are in excellent working condition, fully shod. Both stand for me to trim and shoe on the ground. Most days they work on a log arch, so they are very comfortable on a pole, and they go well on the ground as well. Both are proficient single skid horses. An experienced teamster can make a living in the woods with these mares. Collars and harness available. I will keep on using them until I find the right buyer.
