Greetings to everybody. Nice place you have here. I was sent by the Biological Woodsman. He’s so often right! I’ve been reading around the site, and am real pleased to find a place with so many experienced and thoughtful folks gathered.
I’ve been fooling with horses for too many decades to tell. I had a horse and buggy 30 years ago, got them on a whim, knowing nothing about driving or working. Old Sal worked as well as drove, so got a little experience with both. The working went fine, the driving did too, to a point. It did not end well, although no one got hurt. 10 years ago or so, I had the opportunity to learn some driving from a pro, and jumped on it. Then got the chance to assist in starting youngsters (and oldsters) to drive. The learning just won’t stop! I love driving multiples, and have been fortunate to have my buddy’s stuff to play with.
I’m getting a little long in the tooth, and figure that it won’t be long before I quit with the sissy light horse stuff and get me a team of real hosses to help me do my work. Well, I lied straight off, I won’t quit with the unicorns and randoms, just add another dimension to my world of work.
Happy to be here,
