Along with the other types of work that comes out of my shop I build knives any way you like.
Its the one tool that I don’t see spoken of and it is probably the tool that is most used.
Heres some examples of a skinner I recently built.
I use found steels such as bearing races, friction blades from graders, track pins and roller bearings. Also H-13, M-6 and high speed steel. All these steels are highly wear resistant and some are litterally tough enough to cut through nails and hold an edge.
Many people are just looking for a “shiney”. These aren’t them. These are a tool that can come to be something that you will treasure and maybe even pass on to the next generation.
Give me a holler at ciw004@aol.com
