We have one in out in the barn, it was here when we moved here back in 2004. We cleaned the barn out this week, for the boss and noticed it had Minneapolis Moline on the right side of the wagon, and it’s in John Deere coloring letters; the letters are yellow and the wagon was painted green, even though it’s faded you can still see what color it is. But I did some research and found out that John Deere bought out the Moline Wagon Company in 1908. So I’m guessing that this wagon was made in/after 1908. Does any body know anything about Minneapolis Moline wagons? There’s also a seeder on the back of this wagon.

Front of the wagon.

http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii84/arabian_loverccm/Misc/DSCF0285.jpgThe writing on the side. To me it looks like it says, ”Minneapolis Moline Deere Implement Company ???” I can’t make out the last words after company.

Hey! Have you checked w/ Sam Moore at Rural Heritage? He’s got a column in that mag that focuses on identifying old equipment – I think he’s got a book or two out on the subject, also. He’s pretty good at it, you might try him, if you don’t get any response here.March 15, 2009 at 1:48 am #50672kccmm1ParticipantA friend of mine made the words out and we are pretty positive that it says….
MINNEAPOLIS MOLINE
POWER IMPLEMENT COMPANY
Minneapolis, MinnesotaNow, I’m just curious what the year is, lol.
I have not tried Sam. Does he have an email address?
