I just picked up a nice sliding neck yoke. Can anyone tell me how these yokes are supposed to work? Are the seat replaceable for different bow sizes?

It lets them step in and out so they can go in between or around things easier. It gives them a lot more freedom so it is great on slippery footing, like snow rolling. If you have a problem with your cattle wanting to crowd or haul out you can put them in this kind of yoke to stop it.:)May 29, 2009 at 9:18 am #52724RodParticipantThanks Howie
Looks like I can make diffrent size seats to accomidate them as they grow? Is this an everyday yoke also?

Most of the self adjusters have the mechanize on the top instead of on the back. They weren’t very popular for heavy work, but for most work they are just fine with most steers, some steers don’t work well in them.:)
