Hi all,
In these challenging times, we need to join together to share skills and effort. I am seeking a farmstead, land-based community or “tribe” to share land stewardship responsibilities in return for a place to call home.
I’m a 57-year-old skilled carpenter, designer/builder, rigger, mechanic, machinist, welder, woodsman and capable groundskeeper who is seeking modest housing and storage space for tools & equipment including several utility trailers and space for my outdoor wood-heated hot tub. High-speed internet is important, since I do a lot of on-line research for the 8-10 classes I teach at Yestermorrow in sustainable design, engineering and construction.
I am open to barter, caretaking, cooperative stewardship or other creative arrangement. My income has been limited by my 30-year commitment to war-tax resistance, and my life savings were stolen last year. So what I have to offer is a wealth of skills and experience.
I also would love to work with horses, which I did a bit of in the woods of Maine 30 years ago. Any inquiries and offers would be welcome.

For any others reading this, he is all he says he is and more. A very likable and capable person, I’m sure he can bring more than he needs in return.

Thanks for the support. I look forward to volunteering again at this year’s Animal Power Field Days. See you there.
