Attached is an announcement for a Game of Logging Competition to be held on August 15th 2009 in Chester, Vermont. Please help us spread the word by sending this to individuals who might be qualified and interested in participating. Pro loggers must have completed Levels 1-4, landowners (anyone not a logger or a college student) must have completed Levels 1-2, and college students must have completed Levels 1-2. We will be giving out a new chain saw for first place in each class of participant, personal protective equipment, and other prizes for other place standings. The competition is fun and light, and it can be an easy way to get a brand new saw or some accessories. Registration is required, but there is no fee! Some of you might want to join in!

Winners of this event will be able to move on to the regional competition and success there will allow them to participate in the national GOL competition. We thank our sponsor, Dolmar Power Products, for supplying us with training equipment and prizes.
