    The Highfields Center for Composting is pleased to offer two upcoming livestock mortality composting workshops. These workshops are largely demonstration based workshops designed specifically for producers. Topics will include site identification, carcass preparation, composting materials, pile construction and pile management. Additionally, NRCS staff will be available to discuss cost share opportunities for site improvements.

    Location: Highfields Center for Composting, West Hill Road, Hardwick

    Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm
    Location: Nelson’s Crystal Brook Farm, Rte 5, Derby Line

    Fee: $10 ($20 for non-farmers) includes DVD, handouts and refreshments
