Cornell’s ForestConnect is please to announce a December 16 webinar by Dr. Shorna Broussard Allred and Shannon Rogers on Timber Harvesting Aesthetics. This webinar will feature work done assessing woodland owner and recreationists attitudes about timber harvesting. The presentation will focus on how timber harvesting activities impact aesthetics and recreation and how education can be used to foster positive attitudes and increase awareness of sustainable forest management. Dr. Allred, an Associate Professor at Cornell University, will deliver the webinars live at noon and again at 7PM eastern time. The 12/16 webinar is the second of a two-part series.
