This is my yoking setup for my ox team. The yoke is raised and lowered by cranking the boat winch at the door of the feed room on the right. The yoke will lower to about 4-1/2 feet above the floor where stops on the cables hold it in place. Snaps on the cable ends grab two eye bolts on top of the yoke. The 12″ long black pipe with the red ends above the yoke are for weight to hold the cables down when unloaded. Their are pulleys on the ceiling which direct the cable from the yoke to the winch ( not in the photo).
Tried it out today and it worked great. I know it will get better as the oxen get more used to it. The bows when not in use are in a rack drilled the same as the yoke and located inside the feed room.
