Sorry to keep asking this but I have yet to find the location of a team “shelter plow” I am in Wisconsin by River Falls. Rod44 said he had seen them in Southwestern WI I am just wondering where or if anyone would have plans to make one.
Thank you

Search snow plow on this site there is a picture of a one horse model and Rod44 says he has seen a team version down in south western WI. It may be called something else here in WI the original post was from the east coast. If you find out anything I would love to know.
Thank you,
GeorgeP.S. where are you in WI? Merry Christmas

Anouther type of plow that I have seen some of the Amish use is a type that collects the snow and then has a trip gate to dump the load out of the way. Don’t know were you can get plans for that ,but could try to draw a sketch if you would like.

That’s the plow I am looking for, Rod44 said he had seen a team version in southern WI. Shipping would be costly so I would like to find one a little closer, what do they cost by you? How hard do you think it would be to build one?
Thanks
December 30, 2009 at 12:45 pm #56446matt wnyParticipanti dont think it would be that hard to build if you can weld half way decent. around here they cost 650 to 700 new
January 5, 2010 at 7:23 pm #56447matt wnyParticipanthere are some pics of my plow hope this helps you.this is a single horse model it is only 4ft wide the team models are 5ft wide and a little taller and longer.the shaft that the fills are hooked to rotates so that the force or the horses pulling is what opens the rear gate. you have to back them up a little to close it.
