I received this e-mail today…. Ben did an awesome job demonstrating these cattle at the 2008 NEAPFD.
You may remember, I participated in the 2008 NEAPFD with my
team of shorthorn steers, we mostly did the logging demo, but also had
the opportunity to hitch to some of the equipment for demonstrtation
as well.Since then I’ve had to take a new job that no longer allows
me the time I once had to work with the team, who are now 3 years old.
These two were really coming along well working in the woods and I
hate to see them just hanging out in the pasture now, plus they seem
unhappy with the new conditions as well. For their sake, I am hoping that I might be able to sell them to someone who will be able to use them. I’m asking $2000, but the price is negotiable to the right home. If you know of anyone looking for a good team, can you please refer them to me? Copper and Todd have experience logging (firewood for our own use), showing, parades, and fairs.
Thank you,
Ben Wallen
