After working the winter in the woods without using my Plowden arch much at all (it does not run that well in the deep snow), I hitched up my single horse and headed out to my neighbors sugarbush to take out a few dying maples. These trees were 40-50 inches in diameter at the butts, and Pete and I could only move them in 8-10 ‘ sections. The arch was amazing, allowing us to raise and move wood that would have required a team to skid on the ground without snow. This tool is superb, particularly if you plan to work during the non-winter months. Thanks, John, for a great product!!
