I finally broke down and let my daughter take the mare for a ride the other day. Today she went out for a 15 minute ride, and she’s cleaning her mother’s saddle…….

It’s not the end of the world and if Lisa’s saddle is too narrow you can borrow mine, it could really use a cleaning too:)

We ride my drafts with a treeless saddle. It is nice to ride and check the fences instead of walking them. Derrick likes to ride the drafts because they have a smooth steady walk…aka doesn’t spill his beer!:)

I am serious, you can borrow my saddle, though you may just have to come down for a visit to get it. It begs to be used again.

Carl, what a bunch of lovely animals you have! I have to say, they are well built, good looking, and easy on the eyes! Kids aren’t too bad either!

When we go to any public events, were usually who all the kids come to for rides as we will throw them up on the harness, tell them to grab the hames and lead them around. The smile is priceless for us!!

Comes in handy when pulling hay up into the mow and cultivating single.
