To all you folks that have a house cow.. How do you deal with visitors who perhaps dont know you use real milk ? Do you tell them or just serve it as normal ? …. I am assuming the milk isnt pasteurised on the farm …

Not so much because of it being unpasteurized, but because it tends to be very high in butterfat, richer, and sometimes that can be hard for folks used to drinking milk colored water.

Just about everyone is fine with it, which sort of surprises me. Sometimes somebody asks if there is a risk, but they generally dive in when they gauge my own unqualified belief in the safety and benefits of real milk.

when family friends kids friends etc come to the farm they all know how we live and eat so all eat what we eat or leave hungry on all occassions people leave satisfied and with a new appreciation for real food and where it came from they even get to know the names of the animals they have eaten
