A fellow has contacted me whose family owns several properties in the Thunder Bay area. Any feedback on qualified horseloggers in the region (with contact info) who would be willing to take on new work would be appreciated and I’ll pass it on.
Thx,

There is a very good friend of mine and master horselogger PAT KILROY who lives in powasson near north bay but pat aint going to move from his area. I think you will struggle to find any one in ontario that logs on a commercial basis with horses.

I ‘ve got an old friend who runs the Peterbilt dealership there, they deal with lots of commercial loggers I’ll send him an email and see if he knows anyone….Kevin

Unless they’ve changed it, it used to be called a TN Visa. There is a list of occupations that are in demand and Forestry/logging was on the list last I checked….

The logger’s name is Larry Bockus and I will be adding him to the DAPF contact list.
