    Hey All,
As the volunteer coordinator for the “Links/Resources” list over on the DAPnet site (click on the APFD link at the bottom left of the header above to get there if you haven’t yet) I am soliciting listings.
    We currently have several categories:

    Equipment & Parts
    Horse& Harness Supplies & Equipment
    Ox Supplies & Equipment
    Publications (books, etc)
    Digital Media (VHS, DVD, ??)
    Periodicals (magazines, etc)
    Organizations
    Educational Workshps/Annual Events

    The format is:
Name,Address, telephone, website (link), EXTREMELY brief description in parens

We are particularly interested in entities that you have had a positive experience with and certainly not limited to N.America

My preference is to receive listings at my email:

    mark@raggedviewfarm.com

if you put “resources” in the subject, that would be great.
I will compile and forward to those who can make it happen. (Fortunately, they exist.)

    Thanks,
    Mark

I also wanted people to know that the Draft Animal Power Network (DAPNet) will be sending out its FIRST newsletter in February. (DAPNet is the parent of this discussion forum)

We are looking for advertisers, classified ads, calendar items, and always welcome article submissions. If you have not yet joined DAPNet (member info can be found on the DAPNet website), please consider doing so.

For more information, you can contact me privately on this list or send me a message to my email address below.

    Great idea Bill –

We are also thinking about an ‘ask the trainer’ piece and perhaps a technical article highlight, along with updates on workshops and field days happening in 2011, and some creative writing/poetry/family life contributions. There is lots of potential… the only challenge, I think is going to be keeping the length at a manageable level. We are thinking that this newsletter would be quarterly or every other month…

    Lisa
