Hi there
Here are some pics of our stables. They consist of 6 foaling stables, 26 single stables, 2 stallion stables, a Quarantine stable, Horse Crush, Vets office, feed rooms and tack rooms. They arent used anymore though. Our farm used to be a race horse farm in the 60s and 70s so they left us with some pretty nice infrastructure even though one of the previous owners ripped out alot of stuff…

That is an awesome setup!
What say we send you some bred mares and a couple containers of new horse drawn equipment and catapult the horse drawn opportunities where you are?
😀 I’ll have to check, but I may be serious!

February 5, 2011 at 11:22 pm #65434JeanParticipantWhat is a crush?
February 6, 2011 at 4:36 am #65441RusselParticipantBasically the same as a cattle crush, i.e. for administering injections etc. They also used to use ours for breeding…
February 10, 2011 at 7:11 pm #65442RusselParticipantDo you any of you guys that use draft horses use these kind of stables or do you prefer tie stalls?
February 15, 2011 at 9:53 pm #65435TBigLugParticipantI like tie stalls during the working season but I do have a desire for nice box stalls for wintertime and foaling. Beautiful setup there.
February 15, 2011 at 9:54 pm #65436TBigLugParticipantThe only thing I would prefer is the box stalls be seperated up to the ceiling (or at least 8 feet) to keep the horses from reaching over and fussing with one another as bad.
