Threshers

I am curious what you other small scale growers of grain use to do your threshing. I have seen some different plans on the internet. Some modify leaf shreaders, some have plans to build from scratch, some renovate old threshers. I am curious who has used any of these solutions and if they have positive and/or negative comments about them. Would you do the same thing over again?
