Hey there,
I’m a forestry student at UVM, apprenticing with John Plowden in ME this summer, looking for someone in the area working in the woods with horses I could work with as a part time apprentice this coming school year. I am going to class full time but could do half-days and weekends. Let me know if you know about anything!

She currently has a UVM student working for her, but she will be moving on soon. She lives in Shelburne and does more than just logging with her horses, but there is some of that too. If you are interested get me your contact information and I will pass it on. You can PM me your email and phone number or email me at jmnvt@yahoo.com.

Check with Carl. He is a forester and a horse logger which would work well for your career path. As a future natural resource manager the more diverse perspectives you are able gather the better off you will be in the future. I know he takes apprentices from time to time… - AuthorPosts
