Just acquired a Yard Hitch, I was all excited to go move my first round bale with it, go to lift it up (1000# bale) the bale stayed on the ground and my forecart came off the ground. At least I know that my ball hitch is secure;) Any suggestions on making this work for 1000 pounders aside from eating a bigger breakfast.
Thanks

I have been looking at those carts with interest, thinking of doing the same thing you are. Hauling round bales to and from the stack was exactly what I had in mind. Also being able to use the tractor implements we have laying around came to mind.
I hope someone has insight into this problem.

Had the same problem with my 3-point cart basicly to a design flaw, but counter weights helped the problem. Planing on building another one this winter and hopefully solve the problem. If not have a couple of different ideas rolling around in my head.
Good Luck
