I got most of my trees planted and the tubes put on. Somehow it doesn’t look like alot of trees in the photo, but they take up some space. 30 mulberrries, 30 crabapples, 30 chestnuts, 8 honey locust, and 12 sweet cherries. I still have some black walnut to plant, but they are not here yet. Have I mentioned that I hate deer??? I ended up puttin a permanant deer stand in the middle of the trees. Fruit might not have alot of protein, but it attracts protein on legs 🙂 My general thought is that this land (Penn’s woods) loves trees, and I can work with that. I still have plenty of land for crops too, and I can always rent more from neighbors if I run out. I can’t reallydo this stuff on land I don’t own.

Looks interesting but I will be making the 5 hour trip out there the next week to deer hunt, I don’t think I’ll go the week before for a conference.
Trees look good Andy, let me know if you need help with the deer, wink wink.
