    I have a two year old Guernsey steer who is well broke and doing odd jobs as a single. I am looking for another steer to match him for a team. Another two year old Guernsey steer that has been handled some and has horns would be ideal but I’ll take what I can get. My steer is tall and bony like a lot of those Guernseys are. He might make 1700 lbs. Maybe some kind of a holstein cross could work. I am in central NH this winter but would be willing to drive some to get the right animal. My email is grahamallory@gmail.com.     Their was a Guernsey steer for sale in the Mass Craig’s List a little while back. The mate had died, hopefully it’s still available as it sounds like what you need.

    I believe that steer for sale is at my friends’ farm in Colrain, Ma. if you can’t find it on craigslist, look up Lyonsville Valley Farm, Maria and Jeremy are the owners. nice folks.
