Does anyone know when the big auctions is in mt hope in the spring? I’ve tried to look on the internet and can’t find much about it.
November 26, 2011 at 4:27 pm #70492mitchmaineParticipantif you google mount hope auction. downtown mt. hope across from mrs. yoders kitchen. the spring sale is well attended, and usually falls on or about the second week in march. contact them and you get on the list and they’ll send you a card. buy a horse and you’ll know whats happening there till eternity.

January 23, 2012 at 11:22 am #70491Donn HewesKeymasterHi all, The next Mid Ohio draft horse auction begins March 9th. Sounds like fun. Five days and 1400 horses. I am very curious about the price of horses. I had some friends that attended Harrisburg last week and said horse were almost double the expected price. I can’t figure how that fits with the fall Ohio sale. I am toying with going to ohio.

January 23, 2012 at 6:25 pm #70493mitchmaineParticipanthi cameron, i just got my card for the spring sale ande tues. the 6th is equipment day, weds. is crossbreds, spots, clydes etc, thurs. is belgian day, halflingers and pulling horses, and friday is percherons and then uncataloged horses and saturday the 10th is buggy horse day. hope that helps
