    😮 Let me intro myself. Arkansas for almost 40 years. Be carefull what you look at yu just might bu one. I had been looking for mules for sale for months on line, to make a long story short I bought a smart donkey. He loves to be used. He carts, pulls and rides. “Jack” is 12. Very gentle and quick on greetings and small talk. Like me he alks to much. My Grandfather wass a mule skinner , his daughter my mother was a horsey person. I inherrited both of their interests. I love old pioneer stuff. Iam buliding a two wheel cart for Jack. He is about 800-900 lbs. I am eager to here back from anyone. I am married with a grown daughter. Church goer.

    Oh yes I have a question. If I am hooking a (donkey) to a two wheel cart. Is a single tree a must? my mother was thinking so, but most pictures that I see the (donkey ) is attached to the (poles).

    You’re not all that far from me then! I live about 100 miles NW of you, in Mt. Pleasant. Welcome to a fellow Arkansan, and congratulations on finding a good jack. I highly recommend you put a singletree on your cart, it puts less strain, to my thinking, on your poles. Please feel free to ask any other questions!

    A friend of mine has mammoth donkeys. He really likes them. Plows, hauls loads, drives on wagon they do it all. Yes you should have a singletree whether you have horses, donkeys or mules. Puts fexiblity and strength into the loadbearing.
