Here’s a link to a nicely managed piece of woodland here in Idaho owned by the former state forester Roger Guernsey. The state forester job was abolished by our governor back in the late 60’s and now land mgmt decisions are made by the gov, his attorney general, supt of public instruction …… don’t see anyone with an inkling of resource mgmt experience (AND our state lands show it!).
