    Hi All,
    I am currently working on securing 501(c)3 status for DAPNet in order to facilitate our independent solicitation & acceptance of tax-deductible contributions. This is an important step for us as we apply for grants to help us through our transitional time as a young organization.
    I have not done this before so can use help completing the application speedily and accurately. So I am looking for the assistance of someone who has, probably an attorney or CPA. Please shake the branches of your “family tree” and see who falls out to help DAPNet.

    Mark,

    Not sure if I can be of help or not. Went through it years ago with firefighters association. I am no CPA or lawyer! Maybe if you get it filled out someone knows of a lawyer that would check it over pro bono? Probably wishful thinking.

    Hey Mark,

    I had another thought on your needing help on the 501c3. Have you talked to Jason Rutledge of HHFF. I seem to remember he talked about going through the process during the early days of this forum.. Maybe worth a shot.
