Draft Power Farmers’ Research Circle – Wednesday, February 22, 2012 – Upstate NY

A gathering for anyone in the neighborhood looking for information on draft power or to connect with other draft power farmers in the area. The Farmers’ Research Circle meetings are great and this one promises to be as well.

Draft Power Farmers’ Research Circle – Wednesday, February 22, 2012 – Hawthorne Valley Farm

What: A gathering of farmers using or interested in draft power to share experiences, knowledge, and questions. This will be a loosely facilitated circle discussion, driven by the interests and experiences of participants.
Who: Any folks using or interested in using draft power. The Farmers’ Research Circle is mostly attended by farmers in the vicinity of Columbia County, but we do expect to have some visiting draft power folks from farther afield, possibly including David Fisher from Natural Roots Farm in Conway, MA.
When: Wednesday, February 22, 2012, 6pm (potluck), 7pm (meeting)

Background: The Farmers’ Research Circle is a group of farmers in and around Columbia County, NY that meets regularly in the winter season to discuss issues, ideas and questions of mutual interest. The group is facilitated by the Hawthorne Valley Farmscape Ecology Program (located at Hawthorne Valley Farm). All are welcome.
