I am putting together an order for Athens teadmills aiming to get them here by June.
1 Horse Mill – can power wood splitter, battery bank, air compressor, small grain mills/grinders, washing machines, water pump, etc. etc.
2 Horse Mill – can power all of the above and small threshing machine, generator for back up power (to keep freezers cold). I plan to use mine to power a hydraulic pump with accumulator to run a bigger wood splitter as well as several other things listed above.
The cost is about 3K/horse delivered to southern Vt. (1 horse mill $3K, 2 horse mill – $5.5K) Questions, info, to order – call or email Jay Bailey, 511 Upper Dummerston Road, Brattleboro, Vt 05301 jay@fairwindsfarm.org 802-254-9067.
These are a great way to use your idle horses and give them some excersise at the same time.April 12, 2012 at 1:01 am #73325bradleyModeratorDoes Athens also make the wood splitter and 5 gal ice cream maker? Do you know the cost of those?
April 12, 2012 at 3:14 pm #73326JayParticipantA treadmill with 20 qt ice cream freezer ready to set up is about $6K including transport. I don’t have a price on the splitter at the moment – I’ll get it and get back. Jay
