For those of you with market gardens or large home gardens I wanted to share a product that I have used in the past and plan on purchasing in some quantity this fall. http://www.duboisag.com/en/net-trellis-fence/nets-proteknet-accessories/insect-netting/proteknet-insect-netting.html. This insect netting is nice, especially in the summer when you don’t want to heat a crop with remay (white floating row covers). Also plan on it lasting longer than remay, with some versions lasting many years. This is available through Nolt’s in the USA and is made in Canada. Another Canadian product that I like is Biothrips (TM) a very light fabric with a 350 micron mesh to keep out tiny insects like thrips. I am currently in contact with this company to see how to buy it in the USA. If anyone is interested I would be happy to update this post with more info as I get it.

Thanks, Erika….this mesh is pretty pricey. I would be interested to see the quote for the canadian version as well though.
