Hi everyone!
Thanks for visiting draftanimalpower.com. This free online forum is run by the Draft Animal Power Network (DAPNet), a non-profit organization funded by donations, grants, and memberships.
A new DAPNet membership year will begin as of January 1. Those of you who have become members or renewed your membership since the DAPNet Annual Meeting (September 14, 2012) will have your membership roll over into the following year, continuing until December 31, 2012. Those of you who don’t fit into that category can renew your membership by visiting our DAPNet resource website at:
http://www.draftanimalpowernetwork.org/membership.html
For those of you who aren’t members, we invite you to join at whatever membership level works for you. Benefits include:
-A subscription to our quarterly newsletters
-Free classified ads in our publications (and listing in our business directory for Business and Founder’s club members).
-Discounted costs to attend DAPNet quarterly events
-A voting share in our non-profit organization
-A stake in a community dedicated to promoting the use of animal power and providing opportunities for people that love draft animals to learn, share and network. There are other ways to get involved with DAPNet as well. These include:
-Sponsorship: you, your farm or your businesses can sponsor a DAPNet newsletter or event.
-Advertising: advertise for your farm or business on our website or in our newsletters (commit to advertising in each of our quarterly newsletters and receive a 25% discount).
-Donate: If you value the resources we provide and are able to contribute monetarily, your donations are tax deductible and will go to the continued function and development of this amazing organization.
-Volunteer: If you have time or expertise to offer, we are always looking for volunteers to help with our many projects and serve on our committees.Details on all of these levels of involvement are provided at draftanimalpowernetwork.org
Feel free to send me a private message with any questions about becoming a member or otherwise contributing to DAPNet.
