ModeratorWith all of the discussion about what and who is drawn to this online community, we have overlooked a little landmark. On 12/05/07 Carl Russel started this forum. Using his own money he cast a line to see who would be interested in topics revolving around draft animal power, now 5 years later here we are a community over 4,000 members strong, and nearing 36,000 posts. Thank you Carl (and Lisa for your support) for starting such a great online community where we can share the how tos and whys of real life. Though many of us live far apart you gave us that online fence to talk over.
I have learned a great deal through this site and it has led to many in person learning opportunities that the virtual world cannot replicate, but I am thankful for both types of opportunities.

Marking milestones is an important way for us to look backward and forward at the same time. (ouch)
This has been a wonderful experiment and experience.

ParticipantI missed this because I have been away from all computers for over a week but I want to say thank you as well. Support for this forum is the primary reason I became a member of DAPNet.
