Hello all,

I’m from north west PA. I’m a logger and I work mostly with teams for skidding logs. I myself don’t do the skidding and only help out with the horses when I’m needed. I do the felling, bucking and cut the twitch trails. Ive worked with many different horse loggers and teams over the years and loved every minute of it.
I myself don’t own a team, never had the means to get the team, harness, trailer, truck, cart everything else I need. Besides I’m happy cutting logs. I do own one Haflinger gilding but he ended up as another trail horse for my daughter. We also have a few Quarter horses, goats and whatever else she has brought home lately.
I’m interested in draft horses and logging with oxen or mules.
