I have a 22″ Belle City thresher nearly totally restored and functional and a McCormick Reaper-Binder. I’m still doing plenty of grains, but with different equipment, and with reluctance offer these for sale.

First the thresher. It is of 30’s vintage, made in Wisconsin by a company later absorbed by Case I think. It is mostly galvanized with some wooden connecting rods and other wooden parts. Nearly all the wooden parts have been remade and replaced, including the nose and the oscillating tray. Nearly all the bearings and busings, including all the major bearings and bushings, have been replaced. There is a tailings elevator that is included with the sale but it needs a little work and we have been threshing without it. Paper pulleys have been newly replaced. The thresher has a wooden back cover that keeps critters out. Wheels are all in great shape and are greased, as is everything else. I will include all thresher’s belts except for the 8″ drive belt. Runs great with a tractor of 25 hp. It has a short pole with a coupler for a 2″ trailer ball. You can see a video of it running on Good Companion Bakery’s facebook page. I have put a lot of money and quality work into this machine, and need to recover at least some of it. $3000 obo.

Next the binder. A good solid binder with newish canvases, sold to me by Norm Macknair. Has transport wheels and I will include a bullwheel tire chain for muddy conditions. It is well maintained and is ready to work. It has a short pole and you can work it behind a forecart, with the driver either on the binder using long reins, or have one person man the binder and another drive your horses. $1500 firm.

If interested please call 802-877-1396. Thanks! Erik
