A HOME HAS BEEN FOUND. THANKS
This was sent to me with a request to get the information out to my draft horse people. I don’t know anything about the situation. If you want more information please contact Kate Scarlott, email is below.

I just got a call from a friend. A neighbor of hers is urgently looking for a home for a Haflinger gelding. He’s decided to get cows and is shedding his 3 horses. The Haflinger is somewhere between 6-8 years old, is blind in one eye, very sweet and supposedly has some training and has done some work. We don’t know what kind of work or how much, but my neighbor knows the horse and says he’s very sweet and easy to be around. The owner is threatening that if he doesn’t find a home within a week, he’ll send him to auction. He wants $300 for the horse. If you have any ideas or thoughts on keeping this horse from auction, please let me know as soon as you can. The horse is in Walden, Vermont. People can feel free to call me at (802) 472-3378 or contact me by email windhorse@myfairpoint.net. I’m trying to coordinate finding him a home.
