Good Evening!
I have been hearing about DAPNet for a few years from my friends Pam and the Late Paul Moshimer from Blue Star Equiculture. They hounded me for a long time to get on here and learn something, so here I am!
I am a UMass Amherst student at the Stockbridge School of Agriculture, in the Sustainable Food and Farms major. I am in a unique opportunity to also attend a school (and get UMass credit) called “The Farm School” in Orange, MA. As a UMass student, I took Draft Horse Husbandry taught by Blue Star, and another intro course at Fair Winds Farm through the Farm School. The Farm School also has a team which I’ve driven once so far, as an intro. Before attending the Farm School, I was an Intern at Blue Star for the better part of a yeast, driving and caring for the Drafts there. That is where I fell in love with Shires. I’ve taken a lot of intro courses, and preparing my property to purchase and get my own team. I look forward to reading a lot of the stuff here, learning a few things, and eventually be able to contribute. I have met a couple DAPNet members, and look forward to getting to know more of you. Thanks for having me and see you around!

The forum is searchable and we are working on making it a little easier to search, so if you have any troubles please let us know. We would love to get feedback from a newbie on how we can make the forum a better place to find the information that you need.
