I have become aware of a pair of 16 year old Percheron mares owned by John Hammond in Cornish NH. They are currently on loan to another farmer in the area, but I think John would consider moving them along to the right buyer. He is a trust worthy farrier and horse breeder. I have seen the mares in harness on a Pioneer cart and they seems settled and easy to handle. Don’t know much else about them but too old for me to pursue.
