    Having some experience with a single on a walking plow, alot depends on how tall your horse is. I would put a depth guage or wheel on the front. You can make a simple depth guage out of some flat bar and make a foot on the bottom to ride along the dirt. We used a old set of trace chains to hook to the front of the plow and then to the single tree. Then you just have to play with the length to get the plow in the ground. I have found that a jointer does not work very well on those small plows, so unless you going to plow in competion plowing I would not worry about it. Hope this helps

    I have one of those that I bought and the old boy that owned it called it a hupmo harrow, not sure on the spelling. He told me that they were used in the berries. I am planning on useing it in vineyard. Great machine

    Stuck a plow inth ground yesterday and it felt great, getting 3 teams ready for plowing next weekend, first competion of the year.
