take a look at Newcombe’s Suffolks. They have a very well broke young team listed here. Go back a month or so in the for sale listings. Jim and Diamond.VERY nice team. Have done it all.
JeanParticipantI have a spot on my own back that itches all time, make you crazy kind of itch. I went to the Dr to get help for it. They said that there was nothing wrong and the reason it itched was because I scratched it, if I could stop the scratching it would stop the itching. They gave me a cortisone cream to put on it, of course it is in the center of back, so I can’t reach it. I continue to scratch it on any corner of the house or chair back, just like a cow.
I know I have opened myself up for a lot of jokes, but I am just saying I know first hand that once the cycle is started it is hard to stop.
Try Tea Tree Oil, has helped my sister’s dog with the same itch pattern.
JeanParticipantMike, She looks great. Have fun with her and keep posting the pictures.

JeanParticipantCheck out http://brighterplanet.com/. They have a credit card that offers carbon offsets instead of cash back, or other points. They have just worked on a wind power array.
Brighter Planet is located in Middlebury VT.

Do you fall out of sleds often?

or that bosnian horse… they’re unbreakable…
by that do you mean you can not break one to work, or they won’t breakdown by working too hard?
JeanParticipantLooks and sounds like a lot of fun.
I love your hauling logs video too.
JeanParticipantI am vertically blessed, but do have a suggestion if just tossing the harness up and over does not work. Rig up a pulley system. Have the harness hang from the ceiling, walk the horse under it and lower on their backs.

JeanParticipantWe have had them at our Draft Horse Field Days at Shelburne farms. One is team sized and the other is single horse size. Both women that drive with them use them on their farms for haying all summer. The single one was recently refurbished and is in beautiful shape.
Here are some pictures of them.
JeanParticipantCrap crap crap. Just what I am looking for and I am not supposed to be looking! Let me see if I can wear my most responsible husband down.

That made me laugh out loud. Pretty hard to do to me lately.
JeanParticipantEd, my fingers are crossed for OZ. I sure hope he just slipped on some ice or something.

JeanParticipantI have followed your progress with Smoke on Draft Resources. I am bgirl there. Stopped using that name when someone from Texas said that is what law enforcement called hookers that work the bars!
Anyway, you and Smoke are doing great things and it is very exciting to see you working a team now.
Jean
JeanParticipantIs one of those mares Smoke?
JeanParticipantI hope Dottie remembers the kisses and learns to trust you with the dogs at her heels.
