Our Canadian/Percheron cross has a size 4 shoe, and it costs $200.00 for shoes with studs and pads. So, I think the quotes you got seem to be in the ball park for your Haflingers.

Yeah, it was a great article for sure. There is a nice picture on the inside cover of Sanborn Mills Farm. Coincidently, there was a news blurb the day before yesterday about the dam there….it talked about some emergency repairs that were needed on it for fear that is was going to be breached. It’s a beautiful place to visit if you ever have the chance. They host a great log twitching event there, too!!

I took this picture during this month’s Calgary Stampede Parade. He rode that beast for at least the two and one half hour duration of the parade!!!
