    Mitch never had to quite test the mares in that kind of situation poor footing heavy load and stuck in the muck plus daydreaming driver

    they certainly went up a couple of notches in my mind can not wait for the morons (morgan * percheron crosses) to pop out this spring and see what we get for a new team

    hope to get there tomorrow rain to let up but still cold and windy my son is coming home from university to milk tomorrow night and sun day morning so i can stay over night and freeze my buns off

    did not get to tunbridge today 3 inches of rain last night and today dealing with flooded dairy barn a little colder and it will be snow had to muck out barn in wadders

    Mark do not fill your spreader too full I put a flake or two of old hay at the back by beaters if you do not have a tailgate to help hold in or if chain does not move ash corectly spread hay in bottom of spreader before loading most of all wait untill you know you will have some rain after spreading to soak it in

    Iam looking around for a trailer that it would fit on or someone from southern vermont or mass. with one who is going up and has room my drawback is I only have SMALL FORD PICKUP SOLD MY LARGER TRUCK AND TRAILER ACOUPLE OF YEARS AGO GETTING READY FOR POST OIL ON THE DAIRY AND BOUGHT MORE HORSE EQUIPMENT

    I have a ground drive forecart with a 3pt hitch I replaced the batteries for the hitch with a manual hydrolic pump works great and does not run out of power unless I fade the cart was made in the lATE 80 EARLY 90 BY TEAMSTER 2000 GOOD HEAVEY CART FOR MODERN 3PT EQUIPMENT i RUN A ROTARY RAKE + KUHN 16 FT TEDDER WITH IT WITH 2 HORSES IT WILL ACCOMMADATE MULTIPLE HITCHES AND A COMFORTABLE CART TO RIDE HOURS AT A TIME IF i CAN GET A TRAILER i WILL BRING IT ALONG TO THE NEAPFD CART IS NOT MADE ANY MORE THE MAIN PTO ELEMENT IS A FORD FIESTA REAR END TURNED UPSIDE DOWN TO SPIN PTO RIGHT DIRECTION PUTS OUT 540 RPM AT 3MPH WITH 3HORSES THEY RUN 7FT HAYBINES CORN PICKERS AND BRUSH HOGS OFF THIS MACHINE

    slanahaileequine I shod horses for 25 years in vermont newhampshire and mass gave it up 4years ago I have boxes of unused shoes of all kinds for harness racing saddle horses and others all styles and sizes I would let them go reasonable to someone interested

    I Got Away Without Tedding My Last Field Of Hay Leavey 2nd Cut 7 Acres Mowed Let Lay For A Day Raked Windrows Next Day Doubled Up Windrows 3rd Day Baled In Afternoon Made Great Hay Without This Heat I Would Have Tedded At Least Once

    made some beautiful 2nd cut dry hay square baled killed myself doing it those big round bales spoil you worse than the heat on the horses were the flies even with nets on they would not stand and were always stomping and shaking gave it up and put them in the barn where it was cool and fly free taking the day off tomorrow and going to the lake finish up 2nd cut later in the week praying for rain bone dry dusty and water levels going way down

    Done with 1st cut here in southern vermont real good quality but half a normal crop no rain in may started 2nd cut this week yeilds seem to be twice as much as normal all our rain came first two weeks of june glover nice and thick 30% bloom hope to make up the shortage from earlier cut should be a good 3rd cut if I can get this all off by 2nd week of july made some dry hay used horses to tedd and rake will try to get pictures of my ground drive cart with rotary rake
