Our Texas Longhorns are sooo wholesome and sweet, they sure do bring a lot of joy to a lot of people-especially at events! adults and children who never touched or even saw a large animal before in person derive happiness from just petting them and sitting on them.

Cattle do tend to have loose skin and saddles can slip. If you have a problem with this, use a saddle pad with some grip ie neoprene -and a breast plate would help prevent the saddle from slipping backward. We do use the backstrap on a western saddle.
