You must be about an hour east of us. Yes, I believe those were the same sorrel mules. He’d had them for quite a few years and the auctioneer said they were used in a 6 mule hitch. We’re about 20 miles southwest of Hillsdale.

I went to Chuck Swanson’s auction today. I don’t know what mules usually sell for, but I thought his mules sold too low. The black team of 8 year old, well broke show mules brought about $875 each. The other three sold between 700 and $800.

Mitch-I don’t remember the exact circumstance of our discussion, but we went to the fair in Windsor a couple times. The common ground fair is by far the best fair I’ve been to. Unfortunately the distance from Michigan makes it hard to get there very often. Bob
