Are they getting hard to hold when you are driving them?
turkParticipantNo, they have been shod ever sense I got them last summer. I use ice corks in the winter but I will have to use plastic pads under shoes this winter. I am tired of carring around a piece of steel to knock off the snow balls.

turkParticipantMy spreader is a Macormick ground driven, an old one but it works great. Bigger than the Cockshot etc Hope this helps
turkParticipantTook your advice Neil and checked my equipment. I shifted my rains on that mareand put them on a 20 foot log. She went as straight as an arrow. I even took the strap off that held them together. So we put them in the walking plow and it was perfect also. Thanks for the help. I may need some again.
