My son’s in-laws have an 8 yr. old Brabant mare team for sale.If interested go to Watertown N.Y. craigs list for Fri. Aug. 17 to see the ad and a pic. Nice team, just need work and they are to much for the owner to handle. My son would buy them but one is the dam to his stud and the other is his aunt.

If you look at the price they are getting for a Brabant yearling ($2500 or better) they are not that far off. They are 75% Brabant and are registered. They do have excellent pedigrees(you would have to call to find out exactly what). One is a proven brood mare(yearling stud is across the road at my son’s farm). They drive pretty good, just don’t like to stand very good while you hitch(need two people). They do pretty good on something light, but don’t know how to PULL. All they need is to be worked a little. JMHO
