Can You Identify This Tedder ?

My neighbor bought this tedder at a farm sale. It was used for yard art and has been painted JD green and yellow. As far as I know, John Deere never made a tedder. The John Deere equipment I have been working on , and working with, has the letters JD marked on all the castings. The only markings we can find on it are numbers on all the castings. All the numbers begin with the letter A. Anyone out there know what brand it is and what the color scheme should be ? Thanks
