these are trailers of documentaries made by a bosnian film-maker Rasim Karalic, where he tries to document vanishing trades and everyday people who struggle to survive against modern competition from outside, doing dangerous and unforgiving jobs like timber extraction from mountains with oxen or horses. there, in Bosnia and mountain Croatia, it’s quite different a job than what one’s used to see under “animal logging” in America.
