Huckleberry is a 6 year old draft cross. His sire was 3/4 Haflinger, 1/4 Percheron. Dam was a full Clydesdale. He’s the perfect size to ride and drive. He’s the first one up to you in the pasture- just a big dog. Very respectful of space and has no vices. He stands perfect for the ferrier. My ferrier says he has very good feet. Huck also bathes, clips, ties and trailers like a champ.

Huck has been harnessed and ground driven in a round pen, as well as ground driven around the property and on gravel roads. He has been hitched to a travois and is ready to finish out by hooking him to a cart or carriage.

Huck has been started under saddle and has 30 days on him. He’s been hauled to several arenas for riding, and has been shown in local shows in halter. Huck is a nice, quiet gelding who doesn’t get upset about anything. He’s a very easy keeper. Additional photos available upon request. UTD on all vaccinations and worming. Huckleberry was also just trimmed last week. Asking $1250 obo and to a good home only. I’m also selling a new harness that fits him, as well as a meadowbrook horse sized cart.
