Wondering if anyone has any good, inexpensive, ways to store ear corn. I do not have a crib, and I should have about 200 bushel when all is said and done. Any suggestions welcome.
thank you

It seems like I still see them around, the wire cylinder cribs, put an ad in the ag paper and you might pick one up pretty cheap.

For temorary storage I use a roll of corn cribing (wooden snow fencing), in a circle set on the ground. I have also made a elevated floor with RR ties and planks for a floor. for the sides use a couple of corral panels lined with snow fencewing, and supported be steelfence posts.
Any Questions give me a call

I covered it which was ok with the snow but I should have uncovered it in the spring with the melting snow and rain. It seems the tarp held moisture and caused some mold. Nothing too serious but I don’t like to loose any. This year I bulit a crib in the lean-to of the barn and bolted down the hammer mill beside it.
