Films of Angus & Peach

We bought a lot more memory for the camera and can now do films! 😀

The first is Peach using our homemade basket panniers for the 3rd time – the harness is the old ‘chestpad’ harness I made for Angus, but it was beginning to get a bit of a squeeze getting it on him, for Peach it’s the opposite, just a teeny bit too big, hence the slippage – but given the slopes involved (and bucking!) I think it stood up to the task well…..wouldn’t want to be carrying eggs though….it sits higher on her, so I wouldn’t use it for pulling in this position, but for holding a light load forward every now and then, it’s fine.

The second is me and Angus playing in the field – nothing groundbreaking here, but I’m pretty proud of the condition he’s in right now, in the depths of winter, and no grain at all – not bad for a continentalXholstein! His neck is really starting to develop now and I think it’s a good look, he also fills out the front of the saddle much better, holding it on more!
